Oversea investors of Australia property increase 20%, foreign optimistic about Australia housing market, expected to have a 10% increase in this year.

People always find the way to remit out the funding, caused by the low interest rate and abundant liquidity. The most reliable way is by investment in property. According to latest reserved done by HSBC to well off people in 7 countries, including China, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, result show that priority choice for property investment is Australia.

HSBC chief economist Mr. Paul Bloxham said, increase of oversea investors will promote the housing price. He said:” Beside that, the most factor of increment is low interest rate and easy loan. Australia property price will be affected in some area, such as price for pre-sale house may be pushed by foreigner buyer.” Paul Bloxham expects house prices will again increase 10%.

According to 2013 financial report released Australia Foreign Investment Review Board, committee had issued of 11668 house purchasing permit to overseas investor, increase of 19% compare with last year. These buyer invest of a total of 17 billion Australia dollar in real estate market.

Data show, foreigner investment a total of 35 billion in offices lot, shopping centers, hotel and other commercial real estate. Total of 12025 oversea investor’s visa approved, increase of 19%. Which 4573 in Victoria, Melbourne; 3580 in New South Wales;  1734 in Queensland; 1267 in Western Australia and 567 in Southern Australia.

Chinese buyer is the most investor in Australia real estate market, they invest of 59 billion Australia dollar in housing and commercial real estate market, followed by Canadians of 49 billion and 44 billion for Americans. Executive vice president of TW House International Sdn Bhd Mr. Jeff Fang said, after Canada’s government termination the investment immigration program at year 2014, expected China’s wealthy will turn attention to Australia, lead the growth in Australia real estate market. 10 million budget can have a 3-4 rooms house at emerging region in Melbourne, attractive to those who need a large space.
