Serene Villas garners 60pc take-up rate

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Bhd’s Serene Villas project in Ipoh, which is expected to rake in a total of RM74.2 million in gross development value, garnered 60 per cent take-up rate during a two-day preview recently.
 
General manager Wong Wan Wooi said the launch consists of 88 units of two-storey cluster homes and two-storey superlink homes.
 
A private preview was held for registrants on December 13-14.
 
“With Serene Villas, the development is designed for community living within an eco-luxurious environment, serving up the best  quality life that adds value to homeowners.
 
“It is our vision as a master community developer to introduce a new standard of livability in Ipoh,” he said.
 
Sunway Property, a unit of Sunway, will be giving out attractive prizes for property bookings made before December 31, in conjunction with the Sunway Group’s 40th anniversary.
 
The grand prize is a serviced residence worth more than RM500,000 in the developer’s largest township yet, Sunway Iskandar.
 
The Serene Villas development is located in Sunway City Ipoh, 7km from Ipoh, and surrounded by mature neighbourhoods such as Taman Taman Ipoh, Taman Ipoh Selatan, Taman Ipoh Timur, Taman Canningand Tambun Heights.

〔THE CHINA POST〕 TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Facing a low-performing local real estate market, Taiwanese investors are reportedly putting their money abroad in up-and-coming development properties throughout Southeast Asia. Two large international real estate firms hosted separate press conferences on Tuesday to analyze the latest trend in real estate purchases. According to Executive Director David Chin (泰啟松) of Asia Pacific International Property, the firm, which specializes in real estate transactions in the Asia-Pacific region, made nearly NT$7.3 billion in sales.
