Best Boulevard Breathes New Life Into Pandan Perdana

Date:2015/03/28

Property developer Beverly Group Sdn Bhd through its subsidiary and developer of its 28 Boulevard project Best Boulevard Sdn Bhd with its partner Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings Singapore) celebrated the launch of a newly-installed water fountain in Pandan Lake, and an upgraded public park and children’s playground for the Pandan Perdana community this evening.

The celebration was held at a special event on 20 March 2015 at the 28 Boulevard Sales Gallery located at 28, Jalan Perdana 3/8 in Pandan Perdana.  The lake and the public park cover an area approximately 13 acres in size.

The improvement works by Beverly Group are aimed at rejuvenating the estate and improving the surrounding community’s quality of life. The three-acre park has been enhanced with better lighting to create ambiance and safety for park-goers in the evening.

Residents can also now enjoy the newly-installed water fountain in the lake with its interactive display features and colourful lights.  The park’s landscape, pavilions and walkways are also being upgraded to create more pockets of space for relaxation and various group activities such as Taichi, dance and meditation.

“From 1 April onwards, an upgraded playground in the park will be open to the public. We have redesigned the playground and put in new, bigger and better play equipment for the children. There is also a molehill with a tunnel created for kids as part of their play,” said YH Lee, Beverly Group’s Project Director for 28 Boulevard.

Lee added that there is an adult outdoor fitness area with new equipment adjacent to the upgraded playground.

“We wanted to encourage a healthy lifestyle, and for families to go outdoors to enjoy nature and fresh air. Hence, we want to create a recreational space where parents and children can have more interaction with each other. Parents can play with the kids or can keep an eye out on their children in the playground, as they work out,” he said.

The playground, adult fitness area and improved car park next to the lake are part of the upgrading works Best Boulevard has completed as Phase 1 of a three-phase improvement plan for the lake and the park.

The other phases of the upgrading work will involve better landscaping of the park; improved park benches, shaded pavilions and rest areas; refurbished public toilets; and platforms for exercise. A community hall that is pending local council approval is also in the pipeline.

“The upgrading work around the park should be completed by the end of this year. In the meantime, residents will continue to have full access to the park even while 28 Boulevard is being developed,” Lee said.

Lee added that all these improvements are part of Beverly Group’s long-term plan to grow with the community. He said Best Boulevard has been working closely with residents in the area through a developer-resident committee to address the community’s concerns.

Lee Meo Chong, who is a member of the developer-resident committee, said the neighbourhoods in the area could see that Beverly Group was committed to keeping its promises as a responsible developer. “They consult us frequently and have taken concrete steps to improve the public recreational facilities in the area. We are also looking forward to the food and beverage outlets by the lake which will be an attraction for Pandan Perdana,” Meo Chong said.

She added that the residents need to play their part to keep the park clean and watch out for each other. “The upgrading work can only be preserved if the public treasure the improved facilities that the developer has put in place,” she said.

28 Boulevard is located just 5.8km to KLCC. This 45-storey development comprises SOHO and service apartments ranging from 450 sq ft to 2,174 sq ft for studio, 2/3/4/5-bedroom, dual-key and duplex units.

Selling prices are from RM383,000 to RM1.4 million and for a limited period only, buyers will be offered Early Bird Discounts. Buyers will have the choice of beautiful finishes and fittings put together by a Singapore interior designer.

Owners of 28 Boulevard will be pampered with approximately 200,000 sq ft of facilities and amenities which include the magical Enchanted Trees, a 50-metre lap pool, a starry-night pool, children’s play pool and fun jets, four-season themed gardens, gym, outdoor BBQ, lounges, games room and many other facilities.

Located on two high floor zones in each tower block are sky-viewing lounges whereby residents may enjoy breath-taking views of the city skyline on one side and the lake and park on the other.  Fronting the lake will be a boulevard with retail and F&B outlets with outdoor dining. This is set to become the next attraction for Pandan Perdana.

As a developer of luxury homes, Beverly Group aims to bring premium lifestyle to the neighbourhood with its signature designs such as a grand drop-off lobby, and well-designed unit layout with beautiful finishes and brilliant concepts.
