•    Looking for a place in swanky Mont’Kiara? The enclave offers condos of various sizes and prices to suit many middle class budgets.
•    In 3Q2014, the average price per square foot (psf) stood at RM685 psf while the average unit price transacted was at RM1.13 million, based on theedgeproperty.com’s analysis of transactions.
•    Based on transactions completed in the 12 months to 3Q2014, just over half — some 54% of transactions were for homes under RM1 million. Finding something below RM600,000, however, is tricky with just 4.9% of transactions in this category.
•    In absolute amount, the most expensive transacted units were at 10 Mont’Kiara (RM3.22 million), followed by 11 Mont’Kiara (RM2.72 million) and Seni Mont’Kiara (RM2.05 million).
•    The most affordable units were at Laman Suria (RM592,000), followed by Casa Kiara (RM698,000) and Vista Kiara (RM687,000).

Two large international real estate firms hosted separate press conferences on Tuesday to analyze the latest trend in real estate purchases. According to Executive Director David Chin (泰啟松) of Asia Pacific International Property, the firm, which specializes in real estate transactions in the Asia-Pacific region, made nearly NT$7.3 billion in sales.
