Solid interest from local companies, global players in Bandar Malaysia Project

According to CH Williams Talhar and Wong (WTW), solid interest to participate in the Bandar Malaysia development has been received from both local organizations and worldwide players.
WTW, the transaction guide for the Bandar Malaysia’s solicitation for proposition activity, said recently that 40 parties, including a few consortiums, have addressed the project’s call for expression of interest (EOI), which finished on July 10.
In an announcement, it said among intrigued investors are government-linked companies (GLCs), top Malaysian developers, world-class property brands, and foreign state investment corporations.
“Aside from Malaysia, intrigued investors specialists are likewise from Singapore, China, Japan, Korea and Australia,” WTW said.
1MDB Real Estate Sdn Bhd, as the project’s expert developer, reported a month ago that it is looking for development partners to take part in the 196.67-hectare project in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur.
Taking after the EOI stage, WTW will embrace the first phase of evaluation, it said.
“Shortlisted pre-qualified investors will then get the speculation notice that will detail Bandar Malaysia’s development vision and its proposed all-inclusive strategy,” it said.
